Receptions

Since the Hill House is not a restaurant, we design our menu with the client for each occasion during the planning session. We provide a sample list of possible choices that include many of the dishes we have had requested in the past. The menu suggestions can be different for each occasion! For large receptions, we offer a wide variety of bite size finger foods as well as deli sandwiches, fresh fruit, fresh melon and fresh vegetable trays served with appropriate dips. All of our delicacies are prepared on site by our experienced staff. We don’t use commercially prepared dishes unless specifically requested to by the client. Our staff will gladly prepare special dishes for clients by request.

For dinner parties, we offer a different type of menu. Clients frequently choose our buffet prepared with their choices of salads, meats, vegetables and desserts, but we can provide whatever type of food and individual service that they desire. An estimate of the cost is provided immediately upon determining how many guests are expected and what the client chooses.

Special parties require special treatment! We can provide many special types of menus and many different presentations – from outdoor barbecues with all the trimmings – to formal dinners served on real china with crystal goblets and silver flatware. Our desire is to have our guests feel at home while at the Hill House and for them to leave with memories of the special time they enjoyed with us.
